Apple. Home. Commercial

The project questions how to manifest a way of life where one’s home is a personal device for living. The very ideas tested at Apple commercially are being tested conceptually. Architecture is seen as both a prosaic background and the main character going through a transformation.

At CCAM, we designed a new type of home, revolving around a wall piecing together a single plane activated by touch with the spirit of a moving subject. It is an almost two-dimensional plane sharing Apple’s philosophy of magical surfaces. The all-in-one wall becomes a meta-activity and a summation of daily habits. Its thinness stands in tension with the multiplicity of its functions.
